When the shepherds were met by the angel of the Lord, they were filled with fear. This awesome sight of the glory of the Lord shining around the angel would have made anyone fearful. Yet the angel said, 'fear not'. Today, there are those who still react with fear when they consider that Christ is the Savior and Lord over all of creation. But God wants us to know that Christ is the ultimate gift and knowing Him is truly good news.
