Heavenly Father,

Today we remember with gratitude those who gave their lives in service to our country.  We honor their courage, sacrifice, and love for others.  Comfort the families who carry the weight of loss, and guide us to live lives worthy of their legacy.  May peace reign in our hearts, our nation, and our world.
