Description
There are those who are physically incarcerated that never had the chance to fully know the love of God in Christ Jesus. Prison ministry is that chance to go into their world and share that love with them while they are being still. Seeing that there are always more inmates than volunteers, but they are always looking for more people to be the salt and the light.
There are 3 facilities that have volunteer opportunities:
Linda teaches cooking and gardening classes weekly.
The federal detention center requires an extensive background check and volunteers usually only go in once a month. The county center is much easier to get into and we are eligible to come more often if there is availability.
