App FAQs

The purpose of the app is to encourage engagement and community with other Cornerstone members. The usage plan includes allowing you to:

  1. Receive announcements
  2. View events happening soon and RSVP online
  3. Watch/listen to sermons as a video or podcast
  4. Donate online
  5. Sign up for different ministries or just to learn more about us!

We will only be using push notifications. As relevant announcements come out, we will send push notifications to specific groups, so you will only be notified of what you are interested in.

Notification groups are adjusted by tapping the options menu (3 bars in the upper left) -> Settings -> Notifications. You can opt into or out of them at any time.

They are under the options menu -> Inbox

Subsplash is the company that hosts our app. You can create an account with them to get access to add notes to your app, as well as make donations online.

Giving FAQs

You can either use the app on the options menu -> "Log in or Sign up" OR you can go online to our website -> click Give, scroll down to set up your gift and as part of the process it will have you create an account.

Yes, you do need to create an account with Subsplash for donations, both via the app and the website.

We have done a lot of research and Subsplash has an excellent track record and has been trusted by many churches for secure donations processing and protecting individual's information, which gives us confidence we are receiving best industry practices when it comes to data security. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure, so you are always welcome to continue donating via check if you are not comfortable with online donations.
