For the past 7 years, Cornerstone has helped support several YWAM projects for the poor in India. Among other things, YWAM India provides food for the hungry, housing for the homeless, emergency relief for victims of natural disaster, and job training for those seeking work. While Cornerstone does not have an official relationship with YWAM India, we have worked to support projects in each of these areas for the good of the Indian people.

In Service Sharing:
Kavitha, from YWAM India, will be sharing in service on October 27 to provide on update on YWAM India ministry activities. She will be available after service to answer any questions you may have.  

Donation Matching:
Also, this year, Cornerstone is providing a dollar for dollar match of up to $5,000 for members of the Cornerstone family who feel led by Jesus to help support YWAM as they build a Home for the Destitute in Mumbai. As this is a non-Cornerstone project, we encourage everyone to exercise their due diligence before supporting.

Info Dinner Sat 10/26:
A separate dinner with Kavitha (not an official Cornerstone church event) will also be hosted the day BEFORE the in service sharing by Hannah Yuen on Saturday, October 26, at 6pm for those who would like detailed information about YWAM India and this YWAM project.
