Our spiritual armor includes the belt of truth. Truth provides us with the sure footing we need to take our stand against an enemy who is an expert at deception and falsehood. Holding onto the truth about God and ourselves is a key to winning spiritual battles. Satan loves to lie about God. He loves to sow seeds of doubt about God's goodness and mercy and holiness. He also lies about us, especially our identity.
